Not exactly the same on castigator but the main point is to turn yourself into the tip of the spear so to speak. Dig in and tear them to pieces more often. Arbites is genuinely built for it.
Sometimes hesitating and being super conservative with an ability can cost you and your team valuable space/time if a situation ever gets worse. Being proactive can shut that down. We're still competing against the ai director after all.

Wastes their time and give you breathing room in the moments between them getting ready and you killing stuff. You just wanna make sure you have room in whatever direction you're dodging so that you don't get multiple overheads in your skull.
