Eviscerator mk xv gets a lot of love but it has a boring moveset. Mk 3 has the fun moveset but it’s moveset is buggy and doesn’t let you sprint into attacks after pushing. The special attacks don’t hit breakpoints on armored enemies in higher difficulties, and it’s risky to hold the special attack for the full duration when fighting elite hordes who can one shot you. Dodging out of special attacks before the full animation nets you barely any damage because damage is backloaded on armor targets. Shred attacks also make your camera go crazy if you hit an arm or smth. Too much jank, not enough reward for most people

Some weapons end up requiring more conscious execution for others for example. But that difference is usually just complex in context of this game's scale of technical play.

These days? I'd agree that it's not that hard at all. Free even in some cases. When it comes to the variety of ways they just do things though mechanically at base, they're already a class that manually can do much more.
