Doing it too much can sometimes just be plainly unhelpful. But it's not like a knife zealot can't just come right back to people.

If you're able to handle yourself well enough, you can always support teammates. If they can't handle themselves for otherwise completely doable encounters that's really just on them. You being knife zealot wouldn't change their inability to defend themselves, especially if you're the only one split off.

If you're doing stuff like broad overextending and aggroing too many things from patrols, that can be a problem but not a totally unsalvageable one.

I think it makes the team actually move tf forward instead of edging at a drop point endlessly. But also puts puts unnecessary pressure on players that just want a stable gaming experience. Including that if I get downed. There's a higher chance someone else goes down as well since some are really adamant on picking someone up, not knowing their own survival is just as important and my jackass play style is not to be compensated for.

So far it hasn't bitten me in the ass too much but the fact I play mainly auric maelstroms doesn't help someone once saw me with knife and requested that I DON'T run away(I died trying to save someone on a cliff)
