Eviscerator can be thrown into builds taking martyrdom, sure. Plenty of ways to swing it and find success. For people that don't want to play with martyrdom, blazing piety works especially well with it and has for a while. Got even better these days too iirc.

Martyrdom builds are also very common for weapons like thammers and crushers, for example. These weapons in particular don't exactly get the same benefits from weapons like evis, duelling sword, tactical axes, and combat blades do from blazing piety so martyrdom and inexorable judgment serve them better.

If you're newer to the game and want something that works with a wide range that's easy to use, the mk15 evis with blazing piety is like a premiere setup. You take pretty common used talents and leverage tdr interactions and stable reliable crit from bleed talents and you can genuinely take on just about any enemy with some significant burst damage. The next step above that would be something like taking shroudfield and martyrdom/inexorable judgement with a thammer, thrust and headtaker/slaughterer, carapace and unyielding and just blow big boys up with massive burst on weakspots from any angle with backstabs being the greater provider.

Glad to have helped. The psykanium can also be a solid place for you to use to test things out to see what other talent spreads people are talking about that you want to directly see for yourself. Just remember that because you may not have mods that allow for it, talents that aren't going to activate because of completely passive enemies are going to play somewhat of a role in what your first thoughts may be about a setup's efficacy. And as always, the greater decider for what you want out of what's already strong is going to come down to how you apply it during a mission, regardless of difficulty. Take your time and enjoy the learning process to whatever ends you do and the mk15 eviscerator will take you practically everywhere at a much lower floor of accessibility which is great either way.
