I do have to say there is a debate in the community on which game is better. Because tbh I have 2k hours in both individually. I find dd2 to be more enjoyable because some of the characters are just outright better, but at the same time DD1 has more campaign mission based stuff and not the roguelike system
TBH I think if Kingdoms didn't come out most people would say dd1 WAS better than dd2
