knife mark honestly comes down to personal preference, but I prefer to run mark 3. assassin is especially fast strikes, and they have especially decent weakspot hit damage
mark 6 has more crowd control capability, mark 3 is all single target
to that point, running scourge and blinded by blood helps mark 3 still have good horde clear potential, just know you're still gonna be there for a bit, and have to be aware of your surroundings and positioning, especially with mixed hordes

It depends on how badly you want to understand what those words mean. Best way I can explain is that those keywords do matter but eventually just become part of the soup of what you're doing. They're there to define attack patterns and properties. Strike down for example just means the attack is designed to have more upfront single target damage however, combos that are more efficient may never use them or may exist simply to have a shortcut to that attack within the possibilities of the combo therein.

You're not. Focus more on the look of the attack. If it's a stab that comes down with a diagonal reverse grip, that's your big single target heavy choice for knives.

On a more advanced tip, even if unconscious, you get a feel for how much shit you're about to take and what your dps is capable of. Because I fucking despised most zealots in vt2 because they were the former kind of zealot.
Just doing shit on cooldown when it wasn't necessary, praying their flailing gets them a clutch and doing really stupid shit that they'd fail even after their version of holy Rev back then
And keep in mind, zealot in vt2 is generating hella temporary hp and not toughness. It was generally easy as a berserker playstyle compared to dt.

Generally the argument is toughness is the more used survivability resource and most sources are percentage based. Health is nice for hitting a few breakpoints if you mess up or get screwed. Former has priority in that case, usually people run 3x toughness or 2x toughness 1x health as needed.
