What I have in my mind is that I’m making a point of how shitty it is in the lower hives, main character joined the pdf in hopes of getting out of there, and already he’s getting dragged back in to investigate why the skyfire relays have gone down across the entire city
Once the drukhari raid starts, now there’s a lot higher stakes to it
People are dropping around him, does he stick with them? Or does he try and take the opportunity to desert? Where would he even go?
What if he never even gets to realize that desire to get off world?
God forbid I don’t dump the character’s entire backstory and motivation in the first chapter

Zealot isn't struggling on damage output besides the loudest easiest shit out in the game right now with rumbler antics and psyker fire nonsense. It doesn't struggle with weapon viability in the melee department. It doesn't struggle with upkeep and isn't riddled with an amount of bugs that its basic interactions aren't working. It's not struggling in sustainability department because it has tdr in spades just off of basic defense.

unlike the pyreblaster, pyrecannon has 2 firing modes dependant on heavy stance or not. hip fire -> 10m range, hitbox forms into a cloud like shape, applies 2 more burn stacks
heavy stance -> 20m range, hitbox is a consistent stream of fire
its a bit of a hit which you absolutely must take
since hip fire is seldom consistent with most map geometry
