Hello there, i'm a new player and i just picked up the class. I was curious to know what the community thought of the Zealot overall in terms of identity.
Personally i'm a bit underwhelmed, the only thing that makes me feel like i'm playing a holy fanatic fueled by unfaltering faith is Chorus of spiritual fortitude. The other abilities iare a bit out of touch in my opinon (Throwing Knives, Stealth Shroud, Stun/Flame grenades...)

It's easy to see why and how if you look at it through the lens of 'Helldivers 2 was a game not meant to be as popular as it is'. They've no doubt cycled through devs, it's been a long time since launch, it's likely that there are some deeply rooted issues with the game that they were pressured to ignore because of the literally constant anger from the community over releases. Now that the community is angry over those issues they're going to inevitably fix them while hearing "it's taking too long" the entire time. Darktide has some similar types of issues.

Launch Darktide sucked horrendously. Like HD2 it was occasional crashing, lagging, and some patches were flubbed. Launch Darktide had people going "y'know I think it's fine that I can't finish a mission, the game is fun" with awful networking (which Darktide still sucks at) and performance. I'd say it's better now outside of the networking but that's bc Darktide has been steadily getting better and HD2 has been steadily getting worse.
