For crit benefit you need to compare based on WS% and weakspot -> crit weakspot damage. Power DI gets you exact numbers on which attacks are giving you good returns for crit. Shred is very small in damage compared to Rampage typically.
Cranial is good for single target stuff, but in Havoc rampage is nice for the multiplicative cleave increase plus free damage, esp since it's usually taken in part for its absurd crowd damage.
