Well for damage you only run BP for very specific armor types on weapons that have crit mods for said armor types. The TDR on stalwart is good too I suppose. You also can utilize it to start up Scourge and crit effects for weapons that don't have/want crit blessings.

So like, 'crit weapon' is a bit weird of a term here because high finesse doesn't equate to better crit synergy all the time. Like Blazing Piety pairs rather well with weapons that have poor finesse because of crit mods. This is stuff like Chaxe, Evis, Taxe, and the like. With Knife you have quite a low benefit with BP because you have a finesse boost on single target attacks (basic weakspot is a greater portion of the full crit weakspot benefit) and there aren't any crit mods. Dueling Sword works though, since with high damage buffs in your build you surpass IJ's benefit with like 40-55% crit chance but that doesn't include attack speed.

TL:DR it's way more nuanced than just high finesse weapons. Was like this prior to the rework and didn't change due to the lack of BP changes.
