But the big thing I notice is how fast you move. The first 2 videos are so short that it's hard to tell exactly what's happening, but listening to the sounds, it almost sounded like you hit the dog twice in the air as it jumped past you

Ff and chorus are just different things. Ff can be a fantastic tool because of the instant toughness, and that general utility. Its not really selfish, depending how you play. If you're doing your best to play your part (kill specials while someone handles a boss ect), theres nothing wrong with it. Chorus you're more likely to stick with your team, being a support focused thing, but that also means you can run a different set up. Maybe something that compliments it, evis for clearing, bolter for boss damage ect.
A big thing in this game though is being able to tailor your build to different aspects. Maybe have a single target focused ranged, and a sweeping weapon melee

You'll find that if you're doing enough damage, you are inherently not playing selfishly if the damage dealt is near where your team is playing. FotF is a generalist tool and works out well for most tasks, Chorus focuses on benefitting your team. Shroudfield is a damage focused alternative to FotF, it's harder to path to though.

If you're the host, bugs are 10 times more aggressive and accurate in their attacks towards you
if you're a client, rupture warriors will miss every attack and alpha commanders will ignore you
