I’ve looked up builds for combat knife, including the guide pinned in here by Ainz. He claims bleed blessings aren’t really worth it, yet whenever I see other builds, they always seem to lean into flesh tearer or lacerate.

Has the meta changed or something? Is bleeds even worth it or is a guy best sticking with precog and uncanny/riposte

short answer is that people are stupid but long answer is

bleed builds can work, fleshtearer/lacerate with uncanny, but you usually will deal similar or more damage with normal damage blessings as opposed to bleed, and the benefit of normal blessings it that you dont have to actively stack bleed (like with lacerate) and wait for the damage, things just die as you need them to

Bleed blessings have been generally idealized beyond their actual performance. It's just a thing that the community lives with. The knife is better suited for single target and that's typically done with Uncanny + Precog.

After 6 seconds, if you’re still hitting enemies do all buffs stay?
