That isn't really a good way to show the math. As enemies deal flat damage, we need to represent DR as effective health/toughness. 80% DR is a 0.2x mult to damage taken, which is a 5x mult to health (100 -> 500 effective health). Add 24% DR to that and you get 0.152x damage taken, which is a ~6.58x mult to health (100 -> 658 effective health).

This same principle is why the diminishing returns on curio DR claim is false. Yes the multiplier looks to be affected less and less the more you have, but your effective health is rapidly increasing off of it. 1 source of 20% DR is 1.25x health, but 3 unique sources of 20% DR is 1.95x health.

There are some caveats to that. At high TRS on curios your coherency regen delay is fairly low. Against bosses and in spots where you're fighting ranged targets (the two reasons you take Second Wind) it's very easy to have regen active. Loner itself kinda is poor but it's mostly just an optimal pathing route, esp on builds that have ED and Stalwart, FiF is infinitely better than Loner and is a better talking point as it rivals SW.
