That build is for Havoc only. The other paths are fine for normal play, or if you're just good at the game. Throwing Knives have Second Wind & Enduring Faith, very solid survivability nodes that Zealot can keep up constantly.

The only time you'd ever need to use a preset build like that is Havoc. You can do Auric HiStG with basically anything and be fine. Creator of that guide to my knowledge also commented on this, it's just the recommended havoc pathing.

Yeah it’s generally agreed upon that you can run whatever you want in auric if your gameplay makes up for it but that’s not the build contributing to that

And it's not particularly set either, you can very easily run Stun, Beacon of Purity, and Chorus/Shroudfield pathing in Havoc with little to no issue. Immos and Loner can be a bit constrained, but ultimately result in workable builds.

Not to mention that that build in particular is just if you want to be a frontliner. In Havoc TRS & FiF have very tangible regeneration in coherency (something you maintain a lot) and the buy in is often just 1 point and using your low value 3rd curio perk slot. The times when you need the coherency regen are the ones where you don't have enemies to farm toughness off of, and it is effectively always on when fighting most bosses.
To combo with this, Vicious Offering's pathing is handy for Martyrdom setups, EWEW being the only real tax node (esp when doing FiF/TRS or also running Second Wind). Pathing through Loner can save a point when running Shroudfield (great damage ult for finesse weapons), the Beacon of Purity/Chorus route is commonly visited for support builds. Works out that you can actually justify pathing through most of the tree, the most annoying part being Immos but those are really good grenades.

Can build it a few ways. Surgical/Pinning/Fire Frenzy is common. Shattering Impact is just for Crushers and Maulers. Puncture doesn't do much outside of padding breakpoints in the case that you miss a 1 shot by a little damage.

You hit the breakpoint w/ Headtaker up assuming basically any damage talent is active. iirc though Duelist needs 2 melee stat nodes. You easily hit it w/ sustained assault.

The ones I used for the demos. Zealot's pathing for it really doesn't matter, if you get 1 melee stat node and sustained assault you hit it (there's a melee stat node above SA). Should be able to hit it with just stat nodes and duelist as well. For Vet you can do it in quite a number of ways, with just stat nodes and fire team you only need 2% damage, you can do it entirely with just the finesse stuff and a melee stat node.

With Taxe it's very similar w/ buff requirements, but you get more use out of finesse stuff.
Should be able to easily hit a scab bruiser 1 shot w/ any attack using the heavy damage template.
