Having pre-blitz talents decide blitz options is pretty cool considering that Zealot's pre-blitz is the biggest in the game. Each side's stat nodes let you path to that side/middle blitzes, middle stat node lets you path to all blitz. The far left and right 'thematic' talents let you save a point but you are stuck with one blitz option if you only spend 3 points pre-blitz. Voice of Terra and FiF would be the biggest issues.
Also there's a kinda funny interaction where if you path left or right and grab nodes there, but want the opposite side's blitz, you can just take the outermost path for the cheap 4 point blitz w/ fairly coherent talents along those two paths. Prob would add a path from anoint to the middle stat node to have a similar multi-pathing version of this that has you take a stat node instead of 3 coherent talents but you can path to any blitz.
I don't quite like that layout but it has some neat elements. It was kinda just like a 'if Fatshark made it multi-pathable with the fewest tweaks possible', that tree is basically if you just add some diagonal down paths from the middle branch to the side branches, and then shift stuff around to make the lines make sense

the main thing is people dont usually build around blitz they pick the talents they want and then whatever blitz saves the most points
as it stands for zealot, psyker and a lesser extent vet you just end up with a blitz that you dont want or with zealot you end up with knives always because theyre the best and theyre on the holy path

That is a fair reason to make a central node to get any blitz. There are definitely multiple other ways to address it though, such as preventing a singular path from being as idolized as Zealot's "meta" build (ie just balancing) and also making all of the blitzes worth it. Many ways to address it, stuns and immos could use an edge as Throwing Knives aren't particularly strong it's just they regen and are a good backup for a ranged weapon.
With that particular design, if you ever take a toughness node pre-blitz you're 1 point away from swapping to a different blitz path. If you take left branch you basically have an equal choice for stuns and immos, for right branch an equal choice for knives and immos (assuming the nodes are worth it balance-wise). And same w/ the mid branch. If the stat nodes get condensed a bit in the blitz-ult section, it's actually pretty likely that people won't feel as constrained on points for pre-blitz stuff.

I mean you're right, it's more engaging than say a duelling sword, but that's entirely because it's a chain weapon and you have to decide when to activate, and if you do the funny activate light crit setup for five minutes before it becomes painfully repetitive and dry
The combos are boring and the lights look like holding a plastic bat at arms length and wiggling it side to side at the wrist
Executioner sword is boring and slow and the animations are boring too and only satisfying because of the fx and elite oneshots
