Mm, I have issues with it and Ogryn in the same way. Feels akin to just having a checklist of talents that I can pick freely. Now, that's way better than what Zel and Vet have going on, I just think it could be better. I specifically don't like Arbites talents either, 2/3 of the keystones are unoriginal and a lot of talents may as well just be flat stat buffs with how big the durations are and how easy the proc conditions can be.

Oddly low damage for a heresy event map... but still, easy peasy none the less. We took our time even, so it wasn't like we didn't get many things to kill... there were almost no hordes, tho. We didn't even get a monster until over halfway through where we got a daemonhost(which I killed) and a plague ogryn at the same time lol

Being able to use crit reliably so that I don't mind taking charmed reload instead of blaze away on my achlys twin linked stubber... it feels pretty damn good that crits aren't only from lucky bullet, since I have massacre. The only reason I got rid of blaze away is because overwhelming fire gives up to 50% strength, instead of 40%, <.<

You can get an insane amount of cleave and stagger, and the special attack is an electric hit, and you can chain it into combos
horizontal light 1 into heavy is insane, second light starts an overhead loop which is brutal, and you can chain the special in all of that

Every new character has to complete the campaign now, you have to do a handful of missions to unlock the next difficulty. You can have someone else host a higher difficulty, but it still only counts as 1 mission for your progress. So if you're an experienced player, you're basically forced to drag less experienced players through heresy and damnation, even though you might be maxed.

Rough build skeleton I use for the stagger side. Can use lone wolf, extra points are for weapon-specific things I'm looking for. I'm not the best resource for builds though, I play a bit weird.

Buffs have been broken for a long time. You're getting scourge value, you just dont see the icon.
Get the show crit chance mod, youll be able to see scourge value even if its not popping up.

Probably for the worst, but zealot right now nearly has no build variety, unless you want to experiment. In the end all weapons and talents can make you win but some will make it harder to do so. For zealot set up I have my guide pinned with a few examples build with their weapons

single target depends on what you’re killing
due to the damage override being removed on revved L1, it’s now about equal to H1 against specific enemies, like maulers
damage override removal means that revved L1 now deals a normal L1 of damage, then it does the sawing
but against ogryns and bosses, revved H1 will still be your ideal
