To put it more simply, enemies in vt2 have a point in their attacks where they "commit." Dodging after an enemy commits to an attack will let you get away from it without getting hit. Dodging before this time makes the enemy track you.
But, as Ainz said, that doesnt give you iframes. If you get bodyblocked, you eat that hit like Sigmar intended.

Target death extending the rev is the idea.
