When learning it and panicking in a havoc match I definitely spammed activated lights and it does work, I just prefer the horizontal sweeps with no stab in between

I mean, when you consider you're attacking twice as fast with lights and getting the benefit of a free poke on elites while you're at it, it's way less efficient to use the heavies.
