I used to hate braced auto guns myself. I found they were massive ammo hogs and since they were not as effective vs crushers and bulwarks, plus with high spread, I kinda wrote them off.
I dunno though. Sure, you could grab flamer or boltgun and probably do more with them. But the braced has grown on me. It really can handle just about everything up to maulers with ease. And its suppression is unreal! It has its uses for sure.
