Pairs well with single target melees that do poorly at horde management (like ds, thunder hammer, or mk3 knife). Quick puffs of lmb will stagger things but not do much damage, bracing with rmb will let you fire a continuous stream that does tons of damage to unarmored targets. It'll go through bulwark shields, cleaves infinitely, and the dot will continue to damage things after you stop firing if you have burn stacks built up.
