Zealot has the least complex tree with the least amount of pathing, and hasn't recieved any kind of rework since the trees were introduced.

Comparatively, Zealot has the least to figure out, and Zealot players have always seemingly been the most analytical group. They have essentially been pushing the meta since the release of the game.

That is also why Zealot has always been accused of being OP, even when they weren't (at one point, Vet was overwhelmingly the strongest class but Zealots were eating nerf after nerf).

#

The Stam Spam and DS nonsense both basically stemmed from Zealots pushing every envelope to see which produced the most power.

#

So, these days, there isn't much left for Zealots to explore. They've basically mapped out their class to every minutiae.

Servo Skulls that automatically pick up ammo and restock everyone, does objective puzzles for the AdMech so they can defend themselves while doing the OBJ, deployable turrets, operate doors from a distance, Sonic Disruptors on a Cooldown that cause the Servoskulls to split up and blast Hymns of the Emperor which debiliates all targets within a range, the options are endless.

I have just got my zealot to 30 and have been enjoying dueling sword and relic blade and I saw in the guide to use flamer with ds but I don’t seem to really like it what other guns pair well with ds as it lacks horde clear. Or maybe I am just not using flamer correctly.
