I’ve tried both mk3 and 15, using Meows build they provided, and 15 just feels better.

3’s attack patterns are just odd. It’s still decent, but I find 15 just gives the business to hordes better.

And you can rev/heavy strike a bit easier I find. The overhead heavy strike seems to do quite well vs crushers and the like. Chews through elites without too much issue.

Still slow as hell compared to the relic blade, but fun

People all seem to say 9 is the one to run with.

I run with 7. It flows better for me. First heavy strike is a horizontal slash….charge and time it/aim properly into a gunner or rager patrol and watch 4-5 go down in one attack.

Although I don’t know the breakpoints for the HS. I only just became aware of the fact that each weapon can have different stats for damage, mobility, etc, so even I’m curious now about what breakpoints mk7 should hit

Just make sure you bring a bolter with you for crushers, otherwise you’re in for a wild and painful ride.
