I lucked out and got an orgamech as my hunter killers on scorched enclave

and if I got far enough away from him he'd get distracted by europans

let me stay in-level for over half an hour looting full speed

and I'd brought a high capacity pack mule

perfect storm

but if ruskans or asians got near enough to the orgamech, they'd immediately turn and beeline to shoot at me as the only target to shoot at despite the battlefield

and the range was large enough passing helicopters would turn and bonjour me from across the map

I guess the orgamech coordinates other units into attacking you instead of endless waves of killable enemies

I finally figured out that the trick is, they can sniff you through terrain to a certain distance even if you're stationary just like cyborgs and sometimes drones will

and once on you they default to being your hunter killers regardless of what else the mission has going on, it even blinks your rig light and sounds a distance warning with the tactical cam just like hunter killers do

and that whole they c an't be killed thing

and that whole grab you and insta kill body horror thing

so what to do, you might ask

well the thing is, they're pussies

and if they take enough damage in a short enough time period, they yipe yipe yipe to the far end of the map and give you idk half a minute of breathing room

you might try setting it up at a door or other small bottleneck, grenading a horde on the other side, and then wading through them with an eviscerator

it'll at least get some and you can work it into your approach as you run missions goin forward

I was running IJ because I was using it on almost every other build of mine. I didn't see any major indicators that relic blade's a crit weapon (which was typically the only time I stray from IJ) so I went with my typical keystone. The consensus here at the time seemed to be that IJ and Piety were pretty comparable for relic blade, but Lumi iirc did a bunch of testing and concluded that piety had a bit of an advantage so I gave that a try and now run relic blade exclusively with piety.

Using beacon of purity was mostly just for blight havoc missions, the modifier for which has been removed since the Nightmares and Visions update as far as I can tell.

Havoc missions had their difficulty and modifiers changed in the latest big update (Nightmare and Visions), now corruption and getting instantly killed by shooters are much less of an issue so I doubt that something like that build is necessary

Hey all, new to the server.

I main zealot, playing damnation with a few aurics thrown in.

I’ve been running around with a few weapons, but recently just levelled Chain Axe to 20.

Does anyone have much experience running it? I find it’s good, but you really gotta work hard to get what you want out of it. I find I can pull off one shots vs crushers with thunderous+blood letter, sometimes two if I miss a head shot. It’s when you run into maybe one or two crushers, but when it’s a patrol, I find the axe tends to be more of a liability die due to slower attack speed/reviving before every hit

I find the xii light attack revved will kill just about anything under a crusher or bulwark in one shot, and it actually attacks pretty fast. I use the flamer for hordes/rager patrols and the like and it makes short work of them
