Takes a little time (say ¾ of a second) to discharge and you get yuge damage the longer it's held on a single "part" of an enemy. Playing it across a Plague Ogryn's body would reduce the damage by a lot, and trying to sweep it across a crowd would make it less effective (enough to kill basic zombies but it would be a waste of ammo)

Chainsword mk13g has the best trash clear in the game but is iffy at everything else
Tac and Combat axe both do good clear and do everything else solidly
Relic blade is an extremely powerful all rounder

Heavy sword also mulches everything below carapace armor

Also I have no idea how stuff at low level feels anymore, but things like Combat/Tactical Axe that depend on Brutal Momentum fall off hard if they can't reach their one-headshot breakpoints (or if you're still leveling and dont have Brutal Momentum ofc)
