revolver is pretty ammo efficient as long as you know how to aim and don't whiff a bunch of shots like I can, bolt pistol is fairly ammo efficient with puncture helping it reach breakpoints(the bleed on shot blessing), and boltgun is only ammo inefficient if you are on higher difficulties where you have to constantly magdump for most of the run or if you have a ton of ogryn elite groups and have to take care of them with the bolter.

If you're offered a 17% toughness curio or a 21% health curio or a 410+ rated +3 stamina curio...? No, otherwise: probably, since those are the types of curios you want to aim for from melk, or maybe at 16% toughness/20% health one for a fresh level 30 character for a better end curio earlier on that level 30 character, until you can find 17% toughness or 21% health curios that is...

anything below a 16% toughness or 20% health curio I wouldn't even consider from melk, even for a fresh level 30 character... you'll find 16% and 20% curios from the hourly dockets shop rotations that are more worth it than a 15% toughness(or lower) or a 19% health(or lower) curio from Melk...

the main benefit of an orange curio from melk is that you don't need to upgrade it to orange, and can change the 3 perks to what you want for cheaper than upgrading a 16% curio from blue/green to orange... so you can get the +5% toughness and +20% gunner resist perks for a much lower plasteel cost than it would be from doing it from the dockets shop...

yeah 410+ rating is a real +3 stamina curio, 400 is a fake +3 stamina curio which is actually +2 stamina in missions... I was curios about this since iirc 75 used to be a fake +3 stamina curio before the mastery update n changes to curios' rating amounts

Yep, think of how useful 2 wound curios would be for Martyrdom... it's already strong as it is, but, being able to have a higher % of your total hp remaining and still have the maximum benefits... that would just be icing on the cake... you know? >:3

And also you would get less screwed by someone dropping a medicrate or using a healing stim on you from say just 1 wound of hp remaining...

Martyrdom works better with some weapons, less so the weapons that rely on finesse damage than the ones that can really benefit a lot from the raw damage increase of martyrdom(Like the thammer, combat axe, or chain axe) >:3

Having a rashad on martyrdom is like taking crack and injecting it into your veins, sometimes, for how much just light attack spamming can get you <.<'

Meh... I need it for the fated list, but, otherwise I would probably take the enhanced weakened effects, this run, since I am mostly using weakeness on my special instead of my attack...

cause +35% backstab damage for my cast specifically when I am not great at using it from behind an enemy... just seems like a great boon to sell in the shops for some extra capital, imo... at least... without something like a rare aphrodite on special to make it at least somewhat decent of a bonus to the cast's damage... then again I don't know shit about the amazing boons, stuff... This build is mostly based around fisting the enemies and kicking them with the special to weaken them while using my cast to make them take increased damage(the +50% from having the cast thingy inside of them)...

At least the shadow rooms increase my hp by 5, so I am getting +1 max hp each one of those I do... :\

the first 4th aspect you unlock is the spear's, and once you reach the surface with that, you start getting dialogues from other NPCs in your runs and when those are spoken to the weapons, they unveil the hidden aspect

Talent question - do TWBS and Punishment do the same thing in some ways?

Like, to be more specific, if I am using a Chain Axe 4 build, obviously one of the pain points that can come up is getting your heavy attack interrupted and screwing up your horde combat. I was taking TWBS beforehand to prevent this from happening, but that's 4 points mostly just to get that - and I saw that I could just dip into the left leg of the tree and get Punishment AND Invocation of Death.

Obviously Punishment needs to be activated, but a Chain Axe 4 is only really don't heavies if you're gonna be hitting multiple targets anyway so it seems to be a better use of it, and the increased Impact has felt like it's been a strong positive too.

Yes and no.

From the angle you're looking at it from, they do, in fact, do the same thing.

However, twbs has some clear advantages.

you can't be stunned by ranged attacks at all if your toughness is broken
it's always active
it has good pathing with dod being the travel node to it and allowing you to grab good balance for 1 point

Also, if you're looking to grab crit cdr because it'd be cheaper by taking punishment, you likely do not even need crit cdr for the weapon you're using.

Chaxe does so much damage that you don't need to chastise spam every 10 seconds.

TLDR
TWBS is better in every way until you full send piety, and even then, you might still take it, depending on your weapon.

I'm actually using the Chastise more to top my toughness up and gap close. I just like the flexibility of having it available more, and it does let me kill ragers/maulers/ogryn significantly safer it feels like.

Also, dipping to IoD only costs me 3 points while TWBS is costing me 4, so I'm also taking Duelist. I'm not so concerned about Dance of Death with my bolt pistol, and I can't afford that extra point into Good Balance anyway.

I'm just worried that I made those changes while I was still in the learning curve of the weapon - I definitely feel like my build is stronger since making those changes (although I do sometimes get interrupted while building the 5 Punishments), but that might just be because I'm generally getting better at the chain axe and might be attributing it to the build tweak.
