bleed is slow, bad without uncanny, and even with uncanny, using knife properly (using the proper combos like PA and special->light) will end up with bleed only doing about 10% of your damage

it also gives false satisfaction, because of how dots work in this game, they can often grab kills despite not contributing much to them, since they just get the killing blow

bleed and forget is also just, poor gameplay habits, when knife is extremely fast and extremely high damage

i think it went down from a 5x multiplier on charged attacks to unyielding to a 3x, but now you can realistically get crusher oneshots in damnation

are you using shroudfield or fotf, but anyways, outside of investing into the, damage shroudfield extension, it's not really feasible to get oneshots, instead you are in the 2-3 shot range

plus fotf may have less single target damage, it is much better all around

Perfectionist shroudfield is the one shot meme build that'll not perform as well against other targets comparatively

I always take flamer and throwing knives with thammer - you can toss a knife to skip the flamer draw animation and it lets you kill single far targets with the tknife and hordes with the flamer, two things the thammer is weak against

Rolling steel is the train map that's time limited to 12 minutes (but you can hang out for a while after the final objective), heresy is the minimum difficulty you'd want to do it on to get that penances, Ainz is a person in this discord who regularly carries people through penances (especially this one), and wounds are the health bar segments that turn purple each time you go down - since the penance wants you to have below 1 wound, bringing no extra wounds on heresy means you have only two and can get away with having just under 50% HP for the duration of the mission

Yep absolutely, grub will point to a windows bootloader which takes time to hand off and initialize but if you have one bios entry pointing at your grub and a different one pointing at windows you can skip grub and go straight to windows, allowing you to turn fastboot back on

7 has a diagonal uppercut as h1, which can get good use out of BM, and h1 and 2 both have more damage than h2 and h3 on the mk9

the mk9 has overhead h1, which goes into looping horizontal h2 and h3, which makes it much easier to use for horde clear, while still retaining good single target with h1 special loop

in my humble little opinion people keep claiming that disdain is good when it’s really not, the fact that it builds on every other hit means, to get single target value from it, you have to keep track of whether you’re on an even or odd attack, and how many enemies you cleaved through (also the fact that it’s next to worthless when fighting bulwark or crusher packs, or bosses)

the horde clear benefit really isn’t that much either, 25% damage is nice, but in reality it’s only a 12.5% DPS increase due to it being every other hit, and that number is pretty low, you’d get more value from most other talents anyway
