Relic blades are slightly worse than heavy swords for horde clear when unpowered, but when powered, they cleave more and deal significantly more armor damage.

Like, when sprinting with relic blade, you get a thrust attack, and that, when powered and paired with chastise, can 1tap a crusher if you have carapace or elite damage on it.
