I can't exactly say that pus hardened is a fair modifier when ammo economy gets involved.

Large ammo stash gives like 5 bullets.

Good luck killing a specialist with 5 bullets when they are pus hardened.

Now, if it was less detrimental on weakspots, I would be fine with it.

But when a pus hardened sniper can eat 5 agri VA headshots and keep kicking, it's a bit overtuned.

That isn't an exaggeration, btw.

Havoc 31, Gale shot a pus hardened sniper directly in the face 5 times and it didn't die.

I watched all 5 rounds connect with its head.

you can work around the low amount of ammo in havocs by running a laser-based gun and running it with crits at the cost of less dps but it seems most vet players haven't unlocked their remaining three neurons

as someone who spends most of their time in melee, hitting meatsacks that don’t fight back is boring as hell
most smite spammers also don’t know how to play the game and instantly go down when they can’t use it or whatever else

enhanced smite is spread SPEED (not total # of targets) and damage, both of which are actually just nothing given that smite should ideally be used to lock down or briefly stagger close knitted groups of elites

ive never found much use of smite
either im using trauma and i can stagger, voidstrike and i can kill, or literally anything else

Smite exists so you can take malefic and psyk aura at the same time.

at the end of the day for meta staff setups you either take smite or brainburst as niche pocket tools and its kinda 50/50

i take burst just cause i like it more but it really is just luck of the draw depending on map imo

Funny that you said that, since the autopistol is probably the 2nd fastest way to melt them(not including tknives) that zealot has... fastest is probably revolver(I haven't tested this tho)

In this case it's like, you're forced to be in cover/maintain stamina high to block attacks and lush enemies(no sprinting so no positioning)

if tanky enemies appear Infront of you you can't easily kill them no matter the dmg output, without you taking a heavy amount of damage/risking getting disabled

Yeah the only way the autopistol kills trappers faster than the tknives is when there's more than 1 trapper... the autopistol is already out as the 1st knife kills a trapper... then it melts 3-5 in a mag lol

Idk how many damnation trappers you can melt with an autopistol, I've never tested it :/
