I think the mk8 is superior mostly cuz the heavies, 1 vanguard for horde clear, 2 strike downs for ST, and PA thrust for even more ST, plus the fact you need to shove to access thrust isnt so bad considering that setups for a bulwark 1 shot, I think the mk8 is superior because it’s better all around

the st combo for the mk6 has a strikedown but also the thrust which results in a higher damage output, which does come at the cost of that heavy push attack, but ive not had a situation where a bulwark wasnt able to be killed with a push attack then 2 heavies before the window closes, the moveset still has a vanguard heavy in it thats easily accessable via multiple routes so youre not missing out on that either
imo i feel like its just a matter of what you value more, and i value the thrust being in the basic moveset instead of behind the push attack, i think they are on par with one another and disagree with the fact that one is better than the other
