- carapace clear
- ranged specialist/elite clear
assuming you take throwing knives
a thammer with thrust/ht or thrust/s can take flamer and be great
a thammer with ht/s can take boltgun for big crusher groups and be fine
carapace enemies make up like 3-5% of horde composition
making your main weapon focus on carapace is less versatile and consistent imo but it also comes down to playstyle

No, it can't be canceled, that's a power sword exclusive mechanic. The only way of turning it off is to wait for it to go away, hit something, or swap weapons.

Every build for zealout, unfortunately, is the same.
You path to tknives, then to benediction, then to fotf, then pick your keystone.
Take second wind and duellist always.
Those two nodes are absolutely mandatory.
And the sooner you learn tknives, the better.
