I can assure you that there are many weapons that if played right outperform the DS either in their respective niche, or as a all-rounder

The DS is just easy to play and works in every situation, but is it objectively the strongest? Hell no, though that does not mean there aren't severly underperforming weapons

For one, the Thammer needs a small rework, it should have a AOE effect if activated, or how the shock maul should jump between enemies if you use it's special attack (the way it is now is way too situational to be actually useful on higher diffs)
