Then killing dogs
Then killing ranged specials
Then killing normal ranged unless it's a rager or melee special current in your face.
Most other melee characters can be taken care of passively by attack dodge

Does anyone play Martyrdom on zealot? Struggling to see how it would be viable. Vermintide worked because of how temp hp worked but not only does toughness work differently, allowing hp damage through regardless of toughness long as it isnt at max, but it requires a massive investment of using all 3 curios for wounds to get the full benefit. And even then far as i can tell with 3 curios you have 7 wounds, which means you could only have 6 stacks from 6 missing wounds when the talent can go up to 7??
