For what it's worth, IJ boosts ranged damage and Marty doesn't.

Marty also needs 4-5 talent points (if you were taking Faithful Frenzy anyway) while IJ needs 3-4 (if you were taking Sustained Assault anyway), which might be spent on Purge the Unclean and/or Redoubled Zeal depending on how you built the rest
