Even with all the tips there will be times where you can't just delete the sniper or break line of sight for whatever reason it may be, too many enemies in the way, nowhere that can break cover. I never said to rely solely on the sound queue but if you get the sound queue because you couldnt kill the sniper first you should try and dodge because they shots about to be coming

Snipers also have a fixed fire rate. I couldn't tell you what it is off the top of my head, but my fingers definitely know. So long as you don't break LOS you should theoretically be able to dodge one sniper forever without looking at him.

Snipers will straight up execute their own allies in an attempt to hit you.
