personally I'm partial to thrust/skullcrusher

hit them twice, knock them down on hit 2, then have all the time in the woirld to charge an activated H1 overhead nuke with all 3 stacks of thrust

the detonation benefits from skullcrusher, so you just hit for just under double damage

and in hordes you use H1/L1 back and forth

clear everything out with L1, don't worry about its damage

then activate, and charge H2's sweep to 3 stacks of thrust

it'll assplant everything the sweep touches and stop everything else in arm's reach in its tracks

for everything else there's H1/L2/Push attack (again <- the strongest single attack the crusher has)

anyway I'll stop firehosing and go thump some heretics instead

brittleness is rending but universal, aka your teammates also gets the Armour Pen on the target, however it requires you to multi-hit the opponent, rending applies to your first hit, but brittleness requires you to hit the target a second time for the Armour Pen to apply.

impact is largely not very useful outside some edge circumstances. they adjusted the impact values on weapons so that breakpoints are very hard to hit and generally not worth giving up damage.
