tho the issue is that ds on zealot is still above average in everything, let alone single target

say flak has an adm of 0.75 for a specific swing, you will only deal 75% of the full damage of the attack cuz it's multiplied by 0.75
rending is a flat additive value to it, like how 10% rending would be +0.1 to the adm
so say youre attack carapace with a swing that has a 0.1 cara adm, but you have 50% rending
that would be (0.1)+(0.5) resulting in a final adm of 0.6, so youd deal 60% of the attacks base damage to the carapace enemy
once rending has made the adm reach 1, it is then converted into 1% dmg for every 4% of rending
