While headtaker is very consistent - I said that I have a high attack speed build, and wonder how much this is worth it against bosses. And one more point - if you have a really fat enemy, or a group of fat enemies, then it's easy to maximize and don't drop decimator, and in this scenarios you anyway need that extra damage the most, compared to stranding weak enemies

by the time you built decapitator stacks on the boss, you'd have dealt more dmg with headtaker. Same with bigger enemy groups, you'd build up the damage faster therefore killing everyone faster than you'd have with decapitator

You need to master the weapon to level 19 to be able to fully unleash it's potential

Play games with this weapon or do sacrifices. Same weapon families give a ton of mastery experience

Every weapon have mastery bar that unlocks new blessings points and ability to upgrade weapon to certain thresholds. For maximum 500 power you need level 19. For 400 you need a fewer level, but your weapon already have 380 power, so you would be able to upgrade it only twice if you just unlocked a 400 threshold
