Time spent fixing one bug can be spent fixing another.
That's how time works obviously.
There's an entire other issue with bug fixing. And it's called content development.
An issue with the way bolters are fundamentally programmed with recoil requires potentially a rewrite of the code.
So you have one dev currently fixing the bolter issue for example and now a weapon designer has created the bolt pistol using the old broken base.
So now the bug fixer has to test the bug fix on not only one but two weapons. That may now have potentially different issues stemming from the fact they were created off the same thing.

One big thing about my group is we do lots of homebrew. And one player adores the transformation stuff from Grim hollow so we kinda create a small gimmick for the characters that don't do transformations to help with the power balance. Anyways.
I was talking to my dm about was I was gonna play sorcerer but I always thought the Kinetisist stuff from PF2E was really cool. So naturally we devised. A smaller version of the kinetisist as a feat. But also limited it to one metal type (bronze) and also she cannot craft or make things as punishment.
She's quite the fun character to play as the kinetisism is quite rare adds lots of fun role-playing opportunities. Ontop of being unable to create stuff while her father is one of the most successful artificers in the city.

If the bug is true, uncanny is going to help more anyways. But with a 3.0 cleave weapon rampage is not going to massively boost your horde clear, it is not as efficient as it is on chsword or evi
Right now, my precog uncanny dsword can do PAs+ light spam and clear myself off just as good as when i used rampage

You don't need the ds to handle them, and psyker's melee weapon can serve the role of a fallback rather than a dedicated X killer, especially when psyker has his 'grenade' to also handle things at ranged.
