Mk6 has a bit of cleave to it so it's slightly better for horde clear, but the mk3 heavies are significantly easier to aim at heads.
Both push attacks are pretty good but you might have trouble hitting the mk3 ones on certain enemies like maulers or crushers when they do their overhead because it's a strikedown attack, not a stab.

Because that's a guaranteed free 10% crit chance and you can basically keep bleed on a target infinitely as long as you're engaging in melee.
Also pretty good for immolations or sunstorms because lethal prox makes the radius of them bigger.

scourge and a shotgun. i dont use my gun most of the time. knife has a base 20% crit chance already. i just press fury, get a stack of scourge instantly, dodge an attack and im at 98% crit chance

It prefers weapons that can stat check. Crusher, chainaxe etc but literally everything works with it
Stat check is having enough damage and attack speed boosts you can faceroll most melee obstacles

Martyr is pants-on-head easy. Just play the game and don't worry too much about doing things "efficiently." Avoid damage like normal, take chip damage like normal, profit.
