and the buffs were only ever in relation to how the game/enemies react to your swings

the main thing is the fact that the games health increases and spawn rate outpace the playstyle the thammer has

a charge, hold, swing, isnt going to be that useful when youve done all that and only taken out 1 of the 12 shotgunners in the group

the porblem with the hammers, imo, is that they lost out to power creep, FS has buffed enemy HP multiple times, combine that with the hammers having awful armor multipliers against anything other then unyeilding leads to the weapon not being able to do what its meant too, which is one tap all non-boss enemies

thats the payoff you get from horribly slow attacks, a stunlock on the powered attack, and a shit dodge count, and said payoff doesnt work anymore

I love my Thammer for missions where we get alot of unyielding boss enemies (though ive been in games where others have done it easier and arguably better as vet) my evisc does everything pretty well and i honestly feel alot more powerful with it than my Thammer

@remote lark every attack has an ADM, an armor damage mitigator
its just a number the attack is multiplied against to see what the final result is against that armor type
so say youre hitting flak armor with a sword, and lets pretend that attack had a 0.7 adm against flak
youd only deal 70% of that attacks damage to them cuz the attack number was being multiplied by 0.7

rending is an additive number to that ADM, so say you have 10% rending for that same attack, thats now (0.7+0.1) making the attack now deal 80% of its damage
this can go all the way up to 100%, and any rending beyond a 1 ADM that gets converted into 1% bonus damage for every 4% rending
