Perhaps back when he played the game he only cared about winning on the most hardcore difficulties consistently even if it meant playing in a boring way. Which I could understand I guess if there were no penances or achievements to complete, but with all these achievements it's just way more fun not to sweat on highest difficulties and get to test out all the guns, melee weapons and blessing while just chilling and getting the achievement oriented battle pass completed.

2.) Perform a special attack.
3.) Charge a heavy.
4.) Sprint.
5.) Release heavy.
6.) Observe that the animation of the attack itself breaks, and the attack deals zero damage.
I am not pressing any other buttons or doing any animation cancels

One of the few things that works better for me as a player, compared to the meta, due to my playstyle is something like the 2nd blessing on the brauto being hit and run and the 2nd blessing on the autopistol being inspiring barrage.

I do that in the first video with the Mk6. The only way to avoid this consistently is to either hold your heavy till it naturally releases or stop sprinting before you attack.

I think when you press the special button, it stops sprinting for just a moment after the attack ends. which gives you the perfect setup to reproduce the bug.

It helps that I am using a build that I am comfortable with and very used to. It takes some of the edge off of using a weapon I have nearly 0 experience with. This might not be a "good" build for the knife, but, it is letting me get the experience with using the combos on the knife, under my belt, so that when I use the build that I have that is good for the knife... I will have less wiffs of screwing up the combos. x.x
