I imagine mostly strikedowns that have much more impact than the pick, but are pretty slow. PA is a frontal horizontal 180 cleave that, while slow, will clear anything in front of you, bar ogryns. If it hits a bul, it opens it up, and it can interrupt crusher overhead, but stops there.

Anyway, I think I’ve found my top 5 melee weapons in the game. Sadly, none of them are Ogryn (I never really got into it)

1. Combat knife (🤤) 2. Thunder hammer (for the sound and impact) 3. Eviscerator (it fucks in like every way) 4. Crusher (honestly it’s growing on me fast, and it looks dope as hell) 5. Indig 3 shock maul, feels great, looks great, it’s like a police brutalist’s wet dream.

I haven’t really decided on favorite ranged weps yet. Zarona is definitely going up there, just cuz I love the sound, how it feels, and just its ability to be used in most any scenario.

I’m still trying to open my mind to more ranged weps even tho I’ve tried almost if not all of them at this point, but a lot of them feel very samey to me.

Rending is at least specifically damage and can be interesting as a blessing is case-by-case instead of a 'one size fits all' thing. My official list of things I want obliterated is:

• Blessings and Talents that reward you for doing the most generic action (Uncanny, Headtaker, Sustained Assault, Onslaught, etc.)
• Power blessings. A flat +damage, cleave, and impact that is globally the same for all weapons sucks-ass for making interesting balance decisions.
• Blessings that have been created to fill the niche of "we need something that does that" despite it not being a needed nor interesting niche. (Vicious Slice, Thunderstrike, certain suppression effects with no care for BPs, Efficiency/Limbsplitter)
