they did a dev blog on the rework, and are gonna be doing a Q&A blog in early august about the system
tldr, your existing blessing library will be converted to mastery points for their respective weapon families you have it saved for
all variants from the same family will share a progression line based on investment and time spent using said weapon family (IE chainswords) after the rework
returning/existing players will have their blessing library converted for a head start in the system, you earn blessings semi procedurally (IE you have to earn t1 of all blessings to get start unlocking t2 etc etc) My speculation on how it is worded, having a good amount of t3/t4s for a weapon family saved will put you into the t1-t2 area for said weapon, while having all blessings t1-t4 unlocked, will put you around the t2/t3 range but this part specifically hasn't been confirmed in exact numbers

to stop this, there is a thing in front of the device you can pick up, which triggers his enrage and makes him immune, but it also pauses the tubes in the center from filling. the person holding the thing is now the runner, and their job is to not fucking die cuz lightning strikes (similar to executioners enrage) will just be spawning around the person all the time
everyone else needs to watch the bosses head, because during this enrage he'll occasionally charge a beam out of his mouth, with a very visible (yet small) healthbar on the weapon. breaking it instantly removes about 50 seconds from the tubes timer, then the runner can go place the thing back at the device to back at the center so they can damage him more till the next time the tubes are almost full

honestly most of the advice between the knives ends up being the same
heavies on the mk6 are mostly sweeps so its good to use them for groups when compared to the mk3
the combo i like is heavy > (heavy>light) for hordes, mostly cuz its just really easy, but you could also do heavy>heavy>light>light
for single target, i personally use heavy attacks when im moving from one target to another, like gunners for example, or if im actively having to dodge an attack, as you can wind it up mid dodge
i use push attacks for maximum damage output, which is in situations when you dont need to dodge (cuz theyre not easy to land when doing so), theyre also great for telling an elite or other specialist in a horde to fuck off cuz youre pushing everything else away in doing so

mercantile has such a long end event which is terrible considering you have to kill everything, including everything you ran past prior
