Dodge sliding may turn your 4 dodges into 2 dodges, but you cover a lot more ground if you're just trying to close distance to gunners. Also, try pushing them when you get close. They take several hits to stagger them out of their firing animation otherwise.

1 it requires me to adjust my hand on my mouse which not only stops me from doing other things with the other buttons but can also fuck to my aim

2 it's just unreasonably hard to press on every mouse

And 3 it can sometimes proc a scroll and oops you're holding another weapon now

scroll wheel accomplishes the same thing and is already in my muscle memory

I find scrolling very unreliable
And the more things it can be scrolled to, the worse it is

If I want another weapon in my hand, I want it in my hand NOW and I'll eliminate any chance of it not doing so
