- Vet's mk6 power sword is just so stupidly good to deal with crushers and stagger essentially anything in the game that I don't want to bring other melee weapons, including rashad
- Crusher lacks mobility, but the strong CC paired with the strong damage means its reduced mobility is less of an issue when you toss everything around like a ragdoll and don't have the awfully slow speed of the thunder hammer (which itself lost a lot of its appeal due to enemy density and one-shotting that one crusher being less appealing when you have 7 more to deal with)
- Dueling sword mk4 just fucks everything it pokes and still does amazing horde clear with rampage
- Knife's mobility means you can dash in and out of trouble and just sprint heavy every moron in sight almost unchallenged

I don't want to use tactical axe, I don't want to use thunder hammer, devil's claw feels like a waste of space again, combat axe is still easy but somewhat overshadowed in terms of safety, force swords are aggressively okay and the special of 2 of them just sticks you to one enemy while the rest sees you as a free meal, the chainswords and chainaxes work the same, eviscerators are big and slow and suffer the same lengthy single-target problem, and all of those aren't nearly as fast as knife spam
End event is all on team coordination
And knife spam is king because, as it turns out, avoiding an attack is better than blocking it or eating it
And not letting gunners/specialists build up too many numbers

it was good in a not overpowered way too
They could easily make a blessing that extends the block to a portion of time after you release the heavy, and if you block an attack like that, your attack comes out stronger or a crit

I think the shit that annoys me the most is the grunt enemies with their dollar store assault rifles
90% of crusher overheads i take are exclusively cuz poxy mcgee had his pinkie toe too close to where i wanted to dodge so my character decided she wasnt going to risk stepping on those toesies so she stays in place
At least when a gunner kills me it something actually dangerous and not a fucking grunt enemy who got a lucky shot

but now its become my main build
for knife at least

and since fotf flamer is basically only for crushers, and high crit duellist/precog knife already can reasonable deal with crushers as you can see
having flamer and knives is perfectly viable assuming your melee can actually handle crushers

apprantly some guy said to me internally that the groaner damage is actualy unarmored/infested 10%
watch the kill counter jump to 80 and the side bar just fill with elite kills
so that got me interested

flak is the thing that would take the longest to kill
so more damage against that would be ideal
and ofc carapace is just DOA on it now
so its just flak to kill the things that hold out longer, faster
and elites for the exact same reason

precognitions condition doesnt require a hit, and its a bonus to both headshots and crits, allowing it to double dip
but its a guaranteed damage you can expect unlike precog which has certain RNG
i'l make Riposte Precog after crafting update
mercy killer however is more consistent against bosses but youve seen precog in action lmao
still tops 800k damage on new map, i guess im that mercy killer main

not like i dont want to waste 5 mil on precog riposte knife or anything

if ya telling me to use loner over getting rid of corruption you can shove ya opinion where the sun dont shine
fortitude in fellowship gives less coherency toughness regen than a curio perk can at the cost of a talent point, plus coherency regen isnt even enabled in melee combat, which makes it the least useful on zealots out of all the classes, esp with how many methods we have of in-combat generation
punishment is giving you a total of 25% impact when fully stacked, which is really not that useful. the uninterruptable effect granted at 5 stacks is already given by twbs by default, which you also have

both of the nodes youre taking above martyrdom are not good, the +2 wounds can be very good if youre running martyrdom but you arent, and the martyrs purpose is literally base on the percentage of your health lost, which means youre ENTIRE HEALTH BAR is equivelent to ONCE USE of an ability, when you dont want to even be taking damage in the first place

for the judgement keystone, inebriates poise is almost mandatory, as 3 stacks upon a dodge allows you to maintain max stacks during actual combat, and its not "per dodge that dodges an attack", its per attack dodged, meaning you can consistently get 6-9 stacks with one dodge in normal combat
but the idea is you wouldnt want to have those wounds be put to use in the first place
they only have any use at all if youre going down
and you want to do everything to prevent that
dont need wounds if u never die
drop bonus toughness from kills into second wind, otherwise classic

for melee -anything, just ignore tactical axes for time being and Antax 5 and Achlys 8 combat axes
the flamer is that any good
tactical axes are fun tho 
yeah, but last patch got it nerfed quite a bit
but yeah tac axes are quite shit in comparison to literally every other weapons preformance
they cause brain damage from autospam
also i am enjoying the 2 handed chainsword
they try to fill the role of both combat axes and knifes, but dont do well at either, quite noticably too

ranged fire naturally counts as dodged when sprinting at an angle with stamina
so every dodge talent will also work with it

Hammerblow + Skullcrusher makes the smaul just a slightly worse version of the Crusher for me, so maybe HV might let it reach better damage
its typically in relation to armor
making it quite important as most stuff youre often shooting tends to have an armor type
