Anywho, I would say the mk15 is better. Lights are better for general crowd control and heavies are good for picking out single targets in a crowd, like maulers.
It's the same issue with the chainaxe variants.
The one with the higher model number (I never use chainaxes so I don't remember) is easier to use because it doesnt have the vertical sticky lights that the other one has.

Like the main major mechanic in the raid I'm doing is using these multiple sets of 2 plates that are different sides of the room to ricochet energy along their connnecting path, each bounce spawning a little resonance buff with a geometric shape, which is used to close the plate pairs associated pillar to lock it, and are also deposited at a box once all are locked to extend the looming wipe timer that's constantly ticking down

The easiest way this can be done is the Karnak Twins fight, imo. Run Piety or Momentum and just don't die. You can drop below 1 wound if you teleport and let the bomber that is always right behind you cook your toes a little.
So your tries don't take very long if you fail, you get a decent chunk of money and xp if you fail, and the penance itself is far easier than trying to manage to stay under the time limit.
At least, that's how I accomplished it.

And as for AR values, modders can't touch them.

I only know how to edit skills.
Like, I can move skills around that appear on a lord's skillboard, add, or remove skills.
That's about it.
What I've done so far for this compatibility patch is standardize the red and blue line skills from Cryswar's Leaders of Legend, move any outliers (Tomb Kings keep Reanimate and Resurrect, for example), then add/remove unnecessary skills.
Tomb Kings, for example, have Conqueror, which is completely unecessary.
Now I've gotta play with the Liche High Priests added by Radious and get them working correctly.

Yeah, you should play with Radious then. WoC can get normal settlements and access to normal recruitment on top of warband recruitment.
The only WoC faction that I think actually incentivises you into getting vassals is Archaeon in that mod.

Slow down the game with the buttons in the top right, figure out which squad the bats are chasing, and have them strafe your other outriders.
The ones not being chased should fire just fine.

If that's the case, a handful of handgunner units set up should clean that up relatively quickly.
Spread them out with overlapping fields of fire, run your outriders through that field.
Either
A) The bats continue chasing your outriders and get mowed down
or
B) The bats target your handgunners instead, allowing your outriders to mow them down

it's not particularly hard to deal with, i've played too many elspeth campaigns relative to the time the dlc has been out seeking a way to make it engaging for more than 30 turns, its just very annoying when you can't just shit out whatever unit comps you want
