Them not 1-shotting crushers and maulers is a huge drawback imo, considering even if they did they also cant cleave kill multiple. So a crusher pack you used to be able to dance with them and pick them off 1 by 1. It's very much harder to do so, and an Ogryn with a shovel will kill them all in 2 seconds while youre still charging your hammer

There's no reason not to 1-shot everything since it's slow with lackluster horde clear and no ability to 1-shot cleave. If it's JUST a monster killer that's fine i guess but it's not enough of a reason for me to take it with all the other good alternatives

Both one shot maulers with a little work. Crushers are the only thing that can't be without F. Part of it is also that ogryns don't have access to revolver or bolter, both amazing anti-carapace. With one folded shovel, you have okay horde clear because the wides are on your lights with both slow and faster single target. With the other folded shovel you mostly only one shot things with the fold, sacrificing your single target for much better horde clear. Ironhelm is imo the best of both worlds but I would absolutely count both hammers as at least close to the shovels' power level. Ogryn gets to one shot multiple crushers quickly because he has next to no ranged ways of doing so
