The value of running Flesh Tearer has always come into question due to the other blessings knife has. You can get bleed to work (see Ogryn, see Scourge on Zealot) but what ends up happening is you lose damage due to only having 2 slots to work with. Gotta compare it to what Executor, Riposte, and Precog offer. iirc even Haymaker had value over Flesh Tearer on the Mk VI.

Lacerate falls apart due to needing body shots, you replace the weakspot and crit weakspot modifier for bleed.
