--You could try Graia Mk IV, Dance of Death, Speedload Sainted Gunslinger, Momentum and brace engage everything at close range, but if you're close range, why not just melee?
--You could try Agripina Revolver Emperor's Bullet just unload at the first enemy, swap to melee and use the bonus, emperor's bullet is kinda meh though and that is a gimmicky build
--You could try a lasgun ghost dance of death, pretty sure the interaction isn't worth it considering that the lasgun is accurate when aiming
All of those builds are straight up bad, not worth it or only works on paper

some of the balance is very weird but it has a solid baseline. A vast majority of weapons can fill a role at the very least, and AH is shifting from top-down balancing to bottom-up so we'll get all of those neat features (and problems).
