Oh boy, I found my favorite shrine... my second favorite is the angel shrine, for sure.

That shrine makes it so your shots can fire another projectile with a 3.7% chance that grows the more you pay the shrine. It's cost increases by 10 each time, starting at 10 then 20 then 30, etc.

It's about how much you need, not having more here. With SS/Wrath you're getting 35.1 cleave. With Rampage and chaining ult crits it's a little over 47. You only need 20 procs for a full ult. With Perfect Strike it's 46.8/63.6. Last time I looked into it that extra cleave just wasn't needed for crit CDR.

arguably the stagger on the xv is probably the most important part of the weapon and also why it's just so obscenely overpowered

there is no cleave value that is 'enough' on it because of the effect it has on enemies regardless, from a pure objective standpoint ps will add the most cleave which was originally what i was getting at

damage bp's matter because they deal with a target in a specific way as fast as possible, there is no limit to the amount of bullshit the game will throw at you though, so looking at cleave bps for cdr resets is nearly a waste of time, there is virtually no limit to the amount of cleave that could be deemed useful for the xv, and that's just because of the stupid stagger type they gave it

in fact, with perfect execution you can hit a cdr reset chain on pure crushers with ps/extra cleave blessing, not that i'd recommend this anyway since the whole point is consistency

It's bugged though, you're capped at 1 tick of revved stagger with the first 3 lights. I was arguing against using Perfect Strike w/ a crit CDR build since it's like the only build you'd take cleave for and that's what I assumed we were talking about, in which there is a max effectiveness to cleave (hsword isn't suddenly the meta crit weapon w/ it's 320 cleave lights on a crit build for example).

You're locked to a very short application of light stagger, which would have a sidegrade-coded niche if the lights did meaningful damage w/ the light spam. But due to the stagger being bugged and the lights being capped, you get a very unfortunate mix of a weapon with rough CC.

The knife is just really good at being a weapon in this game. Literally all the classes can use it well mainly because having a high dodge distance is a huge boon
